Este sábado 27 de Febrero se celebra otro año más el Día Internacional del Cocido, un evento que puedes compartir y seguir en redes sociales como twitter. En varias mesas, a lo largo y ancho de España, y en el extranjero, se reunirán bloggeros y tuiteros a disfrutar de unos espectaculares cocidos. Este año será aún más internacional con la presenciad de mesas oficiales en Tenerife, Londres y México.
¿Qué es el Cocido Day?
Es un evento que consiste en exaltar el Cocido como producto gastrónomico, ya sea el gallego, madrileño, maragato, montañes, lebaniego … y usar para ello herramientas como las redes sociales. Ya van dos ediciones dónde consiguieron ser TT en twitter, y lo volverán a intentar este año.
Detrás de este evento tenemos a Laura, Alberto, Frenchy y Luis , 4 amigos que un día decidieron crear un macroevento alrededor del Cocido, un producto gastronómico común en muchas gastronomías españolas. Vamos, que no es exclusivo del cocido gallego, sino que otras regiones de España tiene su propio cocido que puede participar en este evento.
Mesas oficiales
Son muchos los restaurantes que acogerán mesas oficiales, las cuales está organizadas por el llamado Cocido Leader, que invita a blogueros e influenciers en redes sociales. En la propia web del Cocido Day podemos informarnos de las mesas y restaurantes asociados.
Algunas mesas oficiales las encontramos en: A Coruña, Pontevedra, Vigo, Padrón, Vilagarcia de Arousa, Ribadavía, Tenerife, Cuenca, Barcelona, Astorga, Oviedo, Mexico, Londres… y muchos rincones más de toda la geografia gallega y española.
Impacto en redes sociales
Según los organizadores, el #Cocidoday 2015 superó todas las expectativas: “Triplicamos el impacto con respecto al primer año”, que ya de por sí había sido todo un éxito. Decenas de restaurantes congregaron a comensales del mundo de la comunicación, el turismo y la gastronomía, que con la excusa de disfrutar de un buen cocido tradicional. Como resultado, el hashtag “#CocidoDay” fue Trending Topic durante más de 3 horas, cumpliendo uno de los objetivos del evento, que era dar visibilidad a este manjar”, explica Frenchy Ouviña, Social Media Strategist del Cocido Day.
¿Puedo participar?
Todo el mundo es bien recibido a este evento, de hecho piden que cualquiera persona se autoinvite, incluso si el cocido lo disfruta en su hogar y en un restaurante por su cuenta. No hace falta estar invitado a una mesa para ser parte del CocidoDay. Usa en twitter el hashtag #CocidoDay para difundirlo.
